Department of Administration Request for Proposal Small Theatre Grants

The Minnesota Department of Administration requests proposals from historic, small town theatres in Minnesota to purchase and install digital projection technology to allow continued access to films. One percent of funds will be used by the Commissioner for grants administration.

Indian Affairs Council - Dakota and Ojibwe Language Revitalization Grant Opportunity

The Dakota and Ojibwe Language Revitalization Grant program, which funds Dakota and Ojibwe Language Revitalization in Minnesota is underwritten by an appropriation from the state legislature from Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage fund. The funding amount available is $30,000, which may by used for Dakota and/or Ojibwe Language Revitalization programming. Offices, agencies, or divisions administered under the authority of an American Indian Nation or Alaskan Native Community located in Minnesota, recognized educational facilities, and non- profits are encouraged to apply.

Minnesota Film and TV

The Minnesota Film and TV's Legacy Grant Fund is a competitive grant program established with Arts and Cultural Heritage Funds during Minnesota's 87th legislative session to support the creation of film and television projects that illuminate Minnesota's cultural heritage. Minnesota Film and TV is currently accepting proposals from Minnesota-based Filmmakers with narrative features or long-form documentary works in progress (projects must be in production or post production at the time of application) that align with Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund priorities. $320,000 is available in reimbursement funds. Application Deadline is December 5, 2014 at 5pm.
