Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund - Small Theatre Grants, Third Release

Grants to historic, small town theatres in Minnesota to purchase and install digital projection technology to allow continued access to films. Priority for grants is to theaters that have exclusively 35 millimeter projection systems in communities with few available theatres or to small theaters with only one screen. Priority should be given to projects that have a non-state cash match of at least 65 percent of the total eligible project costs.

Partners in Arts Participation is a pilot grant program designed to broaden opportunities for Minnesotans to participate in the arts. Grant funds may be used by Minnesota nonprofit health or human service organizations to integrate the arts into their programming or services. Applicants may choose to have their constituents engage in existing high quality arts experiences, and/or may work with an artist or arts organization to design experiences tailored to meet the needs of the constituents they serve.
