Indian Affairs Council

During the 2015 Legislative Session, the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council was, once again, appropriated money to grant out for the purposes of preserving Dakota and Ojibwe Indian languages by fostering education and immersion programs in Minnesota. The amount available is $900,000 a year for two years, totaling $1.8 million. We are soliciting grants which fund projects that will take two years, following the state's fiscal year running July 1st to June 30.
